Having a laptop will finally allow me to walk to and from the gym with my computer. Our school gym is a five minute outdoor walk and currently, I cannot take a computer with me. This means that I cannot meet virtually with sick/absent students on teams from my gym during class. In addition, I can't do any prep work such as lesson plans or grades from the gym and must keep walking back and forth across campus to get my professional responsibilities done. This laptop would also come in handy when coaching as I could keep plays digitally and send them to students without having to leave practice. PE 4.8.1 Develop a physical activity plan that includes training and conditioning principle Health 1.8.9 Describe how behaviors, pathogens, genetic history, and other factors are related to illness/disease prevention. Health 3.8.3 Practice ways to stay safe when using technology in order to protect oneself from dangerous situations.
