My students love to move, and since most of them have not been in a classroom since Kindergarten, movement is a must. The problem is, with our creaky portable, moving around the room can be loud and distracting. The Bouncy Bands would allow my students to fidget and move without disrupting. These bands will be used in our classroom to relieve anxiety and increase focus. The seats would help those students who need a little extra support in this area. Other supplies would support our efforts to be COVID safe, ensuring each student has a whiteboard marker, crayons and important supplies. As we are finding new ways to include technology in the classroom, we find new needs such as computer mice and headphones. With these tools, they can use in the classroom as needed, and do not have to share or borrow from others.
