Students need the ability to express themselves artistically. Having a Cricuit machine will allow all students to make visual displays and learn about the best placement and location for generating interest in their displays. Having a Cricuit will allow students to create and display their work in a unique and different manner. Additionally, students will have the benefit of seeing signs professionally made with resources that are durable and eye pleasing. Students are adjusting to being back in school after distance learning. The ability to express themselves in a safe but beautiful way will benefit them greatly. The arts are essential in education and they provide students with a means to think, feel, and understand the world in unique ways. The skills learned through instruction in the arts fosters effective work habits, creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, and collaboration, each of which transfers across content areas preparing students for life in the 21st century. Students will be able to identify how art is used to inform or change beliefs, values, or behaviors of an individual or society.
