I've taught this book once or twice using a PDF version I found online, but I want my students to experience the text in physical form. There's something about holding a tangible object that helps keep them focused. This is a high-interest story that I need to make more interesting to my least academically-oriented students. Your support will help me put a book in each student's hands. I'm focusing on BIPOC authors or stories featuring BIPOC characters. The Hate U Give shows students how finding their voice can help foment change in their neighborhood.
