Our campus serves over 1400 students who are on a free or reduced lunch plan. Ask anyone on our campus and we all say our students special. These students change our lives daily, pushing us to become better adults & teachers. What truly sets our students apart is their desire to help others. They want to serve the community & want to leave a positive impact by creating solutions to the problems they see. Our College Success (ENLACE) class wants to revamp our campus recycling program. We are currently using textbook & food boxes as our recycling bins in the 170+classrooms across campus. We want to have each room with a designated recycling bin. The wagons will help my students efficiently visit the 10 sections across campus to collect all the recycled materials.
