This technology will be used for mainly Language Arts. RL.2.2 Recount stories, including fables and folktales from diverse cultures, and determine their central message, lesson, or moral. RL.2.3 Describe how characters in a story respond to major events and challenges. Students have very little opportunities to listen to reading aloud outside of the classroom. I will ad Epic app which contains 100s of books students can listen to and then answer questions about what they heard. the stories are very diverse. I, also, plan on using it for a listening center as well as for intervention with my lowest students. I have students still struggling with learning the letter names and sounds. I will be able to load apps to help with this that may be at a preschool level and student can work without being embarrassed.
