The Pre-k curriculum embeds learning through play. Our classroom has play centers where students engage in pretend play to develop their social skills and re-enact stories read in class, enhancing their comprehension skills. Out of the box and into an (inclusive) world. Students use the dolls and dollhouse to develop pretend play skills, such as cooking in the kitchen and climbing in their beds at night. Blocks are used to build bridges and houses and work on spatial skills "in/out" of the house, "up/down" the ramp, "under/on top" the bridge.
