Help me open up the world of art to my distance learning 1st graders! While my students learn from home I can take them on virtual trips to art museums, the theater, behind the scenes with an animator (and have), but without supplies at home they can't experience it for themselves. I've been able to get them notebook paper and pencils, but they need more color and variety! With watercolors and watercolor paper journals my 1st graders learning from home will be able to experience a new art medium since most of them have never been in a school room! To pair with our fantastic art creations we are going to begin studying and writing our own poetry. Every child should be able to hold a book in their hands and my at home students are no exception.
