After a year of pandemic online learning, the students are eager to feel learning in their hands again, and these classroom supplies will fulfill that need, both for whole group instruction as well as small group differentiated instruction. The erasable, magnetic whiteboards will be used for teaching ELA W.2.1. The students are eager to write using a whiteboard because it's a fun, hands-on way to practice their opinion writing pieces. Make a mistake, no problem, easily erase and continue writing. The language books will also help students understand grammar better, thus further improving their writing skills. Students will also use these whiteboards to practice and learn ELA RF.2.3 skills by spelling and sounding out words with the red vowels and blue consonant magnetic letters. Manipulatives such as these make learning fun and help those kinesthetic learners. The decodable books will also help students continue building their reading skills.
