This project promotes hands on experiences that were not available during distance learning and school closure due to COVID. These materials can be used safely by individuals and groups. This project addresses the K-5 Library Standards: Foundational Standards Inquire, Collaborate & Explore. 1 - INQUIRE: Build new knowledge by inquiring, thinking critically, identifying problems, and developing strategies for solving problems. Foundational Standard 3 - COLLABORATE: Work effectively with others to broaden perspectives and work toward common goals. Broaden and deepen understandings through engagement in a learning group; work with other learners to build on their own prior knowledge and create new knowledge; work productively with others to solve problems. and Foundational Standard 5 - EXPLORE: Discover and innovate in a growth mindset developed through experience and reflection.
