The items that I have selected will help to rebuild my classroom after Hurricane Ida. My hope is that I am able to get these items to turn my bare classroom into a welcoming environment for all who may enter. When selecting my items, I also added educational games and materials that can be implemented during small group or center time which will be great practice in the ELA standards taught throughout the school year including recognizing and naming letters and sounds as well as producing CVC words. I also added things that were lost or damaged, including things for myself like a new Keurig coffee maker, that were used on a daily basis that would come in handy to have within my room. Any help would be amazing during this time!
