Students will use this resource in a unique way. This will allow for more interaction and energy from the teacher. Students will be engaged by a teacher that can move and interact like in a more traditional setting. Engagement is possibly the biggest problem in online learning. Students still need to engage in similar way as we would in a physical classroom even when online. Students will better be able to interact with a physical environment the teacher creates in a more interactive and engaging way. This is part of Nevada State Standards as well. (SS.6-8.EUSH.35.). SS.6-8.EUSH.35. Utilize and construct maps and images to explain and analyze regional, environmental, and cultural characteristics in early U.S history. Students need to see their teacher using several different wall maps but they also need to see their teacher face to face in order to engage on a personal and academic level. This product will enable their teacher to quickly transition from a geography lesson to a face to face discussion with little disruption.
