Many of my students have disabilities that affect their attending and participation skills. After staying home for over a year during COVID it has been hard for many of my students to return to a traditional learning environment. They struggle to sit still and pay attention to instruction. Many of them are on behavior systems that allow them to earn treasure box items or time to play with fidget toys. The resources from this project will help keep them motivated to learn. These resources will also give my students a variety of flexible seating choices. Being able to sit in a wobble stool or choose to sit on a cushion on the floor is very motivating. The wobble stools allow my students to move around and fidget without distracting their peers. These materials will help support them in meeting their individualized IEP goals which are based off of Nevada Academic Content Standards.
