Students will be able to learn Nevada Academic Content Standards by using games to help reinforce concepts being taught in the classroom. Students will also have calculators to help them with basic math facts while learning more difficult concepts. The teacher resources will also help to give the students a variety of ways to learn each concept. These resources will help with Math 7.EE.B3 (algebraic expressions), Math 8.EE.C7 ab (Solving Linear Equations), and Math 7.GA3 (three-dimensional figures). Many of my students have to quarantine this year from having Covid or being exposed, so the resources that I have applied for will help to keep them caught up as they do distance learning. These materials will be easily added to Canvas to help my students see examples and have practice problems to work on while at home. Hopefully, with these resources, I will be able to keep my students involved in learning whether they are in person or at home due to Covid.
