These high-quality novels will help our school teach the students the Nevada Academic Content Standards, RL 5.1-RL5.3 as well as RL 5.10. These novels will help us compare characters, settings, and events as well as develop their love of reading good literature. Many students fell behind in their learning during required distance learning due to COVID. Students were disengaged and unmotivated. These novels will help motivate our students to learn the Nevada Content Standards in an engaging way and help us foster a love of learning again in our students.
