My students have weaknesses in language, pragmatic, and articulation skills. Each item has a purpose to increase language skills. The books align with language units to increase exposure of prepositions, verbs, labeling, functions, categories, similarities, differences, inferencing, humor, and more! We learn through stories, personal experiences, and hands-on activities. Students are hands-on with board games and promote appropriate social skills and opportunity to practice expressive language. Sensory bins with water beads will be created to align with language units to work on receptive language such as identifying, understanding, and following directions.
