As we know, COVID 19 has had significant impact on our students. Most people recognize the academic setbacks, however there is many social-emotional learning deficits that need to be addressed. I would like to provide my students with more opportunities to engage in stories that they can connect with. These books will address varying emotions and situations. These books will be used in correspondence with activities that match the selected skill or life situation. Students will have the opportunity to practice their problem solving skills, discuss ways to show emotions and connect with experiences in their personal life.

About my class
