My students will use Scholastic Scope multi-genre stories and skill-building activities to enhance their learning in ELA. This will raise reading achievement by using fun engaging, authentic texts including nonfiction, fiction, debates & more Scope provides Step-by-step lesson plans which helps all of my students to think in a higher-level as well as whole-class, small-group, and independent instruction. We will us differentiation tools such as, videos, audio articles, vocabulary slideshows, articles at two Lexile® levels, scaffolded activities, and more. This helps my students to stay engaged in the lessons. I will use the activities and assessments to introduce and reinforce the ELA skills most critical to analytical reading, writing, and test taking.
