Having a class set of calculators will be greatly beneficial to my pre-algebra class. Students will be able to perform square and cube roots with ease without having to use a table of values. Each student having their own calculator will keep all students engaged. There is too much downtime now as students have to wait to share calculators. On assessments, having students share has become a problem as it is too easy for students to pass answers to each other. Each student having their own device would be a huge asset in my class.
