These games will allow my students to learn their grade level standards, but through a fun and engaging way. My students struggle with learning in the typical fashion, so if they can still learn their multiplication facts while playing a game, it would be a win-win for everyone! My students struggled last year because they were not able to use manipulatives or games because of COVID restrictions. My students need engaging, hands-on activities in order to learn. My students especially struggle with identifying details and drawing inferences from texts, so if they can learn how to do this through a game, I think they could make a lot of progress. (RI.4.1, RI.4.2). My classroom is filled with fun, energetic students that want to learn. They put in their best effort every day. They deserve to be able to have fun while learning in my class because they have enough stress in their general education class with trying to keep up.
