These materials will help my students develop their work skills. Using task boxes and manipulatives will help my students practice fine motor skills, task retention, and attentiveness to work tasks. My students need concrete learning opportunities to hone their work skills for their lives after graduation. Often if we can find appropriate work tasks, for older students, we are more able to focus on our newly developed skills. Since we are practicing for life after school, we are working hard on sustainable skills and appropriate behaviors for the workplace and in settings outside the classroom.
