The art room is a great place to create and explore but we go through lots of materials. All of my students can creatively explore color in a variety of ways with these new resources. The yarn, markers, Model Magic, and sensory mats (providing textures) will help students create 3-dimensional art in a new ways. Students love getting hands on with Model Magic. New Safety Practices and Guidelines for Elementary Art state that students should use single-use, air-dry clay. I will be using the Model Magic to help meet VA:Cr2.1 in all grades.
