My students are amazing, inspiring and dedicated to social change to make their world a better place. They are also high school students ages 14-20 from low-income areas around Memphis, TN. Many of our students have had problems in other school settings and/or problems at home that led to falling behind in school, and have needed to change schools for one reason or another. Some students are lacking emotional support within their family systems, communities, or peer groups.
