A new teaching easel would make a significant difference in our first-grade classroom. The easel I currently have is too short and very close to the carpet. Whenever I write on our anchor chart paper with the students, I have to get on my knees and have my back facing the students to write the best I possibly can. Even then, my handwriting is not neat and therefore my students are not being shown legible and neat handwriting daily. A new easel would make my lessons much more comfortable!
