My students would benefit from flexible seating in the classroom because the change in the seating choices can help them to exert energy in our small portable. These items will help give my students alternatives to just sitting at their desks in stiff chairs. Giving them a flexible environment allows them to focus more on their learning and will create a space where they can be more comfortable and successful. My students are all unique and so are their learning styles and needs. Many of them are active and fidget, including my students with ADHD. By using wobble chairs, students can rock back and forth while working at their desks. The movement helps to improve memory and concentration. Standing desks give students a chance to get up, get their blood flowing, and burn more calories while they work. Students can use the stadium chairs and portable lap desks when they work on the floor and stretch out their legs. Floor seating can increase hip mobility and strengthen core muscles. With these seating options, it will help increase movement and engagement, empower students by giving them a variety of seating choices, and provide the tools to meet their needs.
