With the acquisition of this rug, our classroom community will be greatly impacted! We have not had the opportunity to gather on the floor as a group all year due to COVID-19. My hope is that when spring comes and cases drop my class will get to gather together and enjoy community-building conversations, stories, and lively discussions about math and science. Having this rug will allow us to sit together while allowing each child space to feel comfortable in their own square. I hope that having this rug in our classroom will deepen our bond as a class community!

About my class
