Providing these graphic novels for the library will help the students fulfill the CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL 1.10, 2.10. 3.10,4.10, 5.10, 6.10, 7.10. and 8.10 Range of Reading and Level of Text Complexity standard. This Nevada Academic Content Standards aims to have students able to read and comprehend literature at their grade level by the end of the year. The graphic novels will provide scaffolding to build up readers skills allowing them to complete novels quickly and motivating them to continue on their reading journey. It is my hope that these books will build the students love of reading and create reading habits that will last a lifetime.

About my class
