Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. With the rug in my classroom and the wobble chairs, this will allow my students to have options during independent work times. They will be able to choose a more comfortable seating than just at their desk. My students are also noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. I want my students to have the possibility to make their own choice.
