Unfortunately, we have students routinely being excluded from school for COVID concerns. The requested iPad will enable better communication between students isolated at home and school staff. It will be used to support these students with recorded lessons emailed or posted directly to school websites. It would also be used for Zoom meetings with students, parents, and other educators. And, it would be used to post assignments to Microsoft TEAMS for students to access from home. Finally, students without technology would be allowed to check out the iPad for use at home to stay caught up with their school work. Using an iPad would immensely assist students who are excluded from school by providing them with the information, support, and technology they need to succeed in their journey towards graduation!
