The books that I am requesting will be used in our school's GT classroom to help inspire ideas and creativity with our students. Throughout the year, we will be working on projects related to their interests. These books will serve as a resource to them as well as a possible inspiration for developing new interests in certain topics. I have also included some books to help with the Social-Emotional aspect of teaching gifted students. Many struggle with anxiety, frustration, and other strong feelings. These books will help them relate to one another and guide them through understanding and dealing with their emotions in a healthy way.
