So much of education requires access to devices that can connect to the internet or provide a platform to type and create projects. My curriculum is set up to prepare students to excel as they move beyond public education to careers and university. With the requested devices I can provide students with the tools needed to find success. These devices will allow students to conduct research and type/create projects in class that they typically would not have the ability to complete at home due to a lack of resources. These devices will help prepare students to be competitive in the job and university markets by helping develop needed skills. My students are currently working on a criminal research project that requires extensive use of digital media. Their final project will require a creative portion such as a podcast or movie, and a typed annotated bibliography. These devices will give the opportunity to students who would otherwise not complete the project.
