The items will help provide my students with the option to move around the room with flexible seating. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning. Studies have shown how providing flexible seating can improve a student nearly in half. Giving the option to move allows for more engagement from the class itself. I am working to build a calming corner not only for my current students but for my future students. The calming corner I am providing in my classroom will allow my special education students can go sit and breathe. This corner is not only for my special education students but also for the rest of my students and future students.
