I am in need of a book set that students will read as part of our English unit "The American Experience". This unit is based around the American experience and we will be discussing and reading accounts from all races, genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds. At the forefront of this unit we will be discussing Civil Rights and be reading "Warriors Don't Cry" to better understand school integration. Students will also be reading short stories about Japanese internment, modern day immigrants and refugees that make their way to America in hopes of a better life, and the women's rights movement.

About my class
