Rebuilding and restocking PE supplies are very important for our students. In the past years they have had to endure the stress of many hurricane threats and actual hurricanes in our area. Some of the students this year are from a neighboring state and are displaced due to Hurricane Nicholas. The students look forward to coming to Physical Education and participating, engaging with their peers and having fun to clear their little minds. As a low-income campus, the budget I receive for PE is not enough to cover the equipment. I have the privilege of teaching a class that students love and look forward to attending. I would like to provide them with the opportunity to play, have fun and incorporate academics into games all while learning about the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle through lifetime sports and games. The Badminton/Volleyball net and racquets will give my students the opportunity to safely participate in activities such as Badminton and Volleyball. This will help them learn how to play games that teach about volleying all while working on their coordination skills. The balls will help them develop their hand-eye coordination while working on catching and throwing skills. The equipment needed for these activities will help build many skills as the students move from elementary to middle school. The most important thing will be the excitement and joy the kids will experience!!!!!!
