Students are struggling returning back to school after almost a year and a half of learning virtually. Many students are craving the engaging and interacting activities that we had in person prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. The isolation students were dealing with during the pandemic has spilled over into this school year. These board games will help my students engage with each other again in a fun way, while reinforcing their knowledge about government and economics. The Constitution is an incredibly important part of American government, especially AP Government, so I am providing an entertaining, fun way to learn more about it. SS.9-12.CE.15. Analyze how American identity has been shaped by government policies, institutions, and founding documents SS.9-12.CE.27. Examine the roles and responsibilities of the three branches of government. SS.9-12.CE.31. Examine the role of special interest groups, lobbyists, and PACS on the U.S. legislative and electoral process.
