I currently only have a desktop computer in my office that I am able to use for attendance, grades, and behavior logs. An iPad will allow me to take attendance, update grades, write behavior logs in all the areas that I teach my students. I will be able to use it in the fitness room to access my circuit timer and other applications without having to use my person phone. The iPad will also be able to go across campus to the fields so I am able to use it to stay updated there as well. Being able to write behavior logs while the incident is fresh on my mind allows for a more accurate report and lessens the chance I may forget to log the incident before I can sit down at my desktop in my office. Having these logs helps provide the state with a up to date assessment of the behaviors so students can level up and eventually get released. It will keep me digitally connected to the office and cottage staff. we also use google chat to communicate with the front office, others teachers, the janitor, and the principal. This would provide me with a direct line for if and when I need assistance.
