We will use the Chromebook for many English Language Arts assignments; students can utilize the speech-to-text feature for writing and also have the text read aloud to them with the click of the button. They will be able to practice sight words, work on their typing skills, and create projects in their preferred modality. This will promote independence and access the general education curriculum. Assistive technology helps bridge the gap for students with special needs. There are so many cool features that my students will be able to use and learn from on the Chromebook!
