These materials will help with team building for social and emotional growth. My students are surviving a pandemic and need real world hands-on activities to help build their growth. Offering STEM projects will encourage creativity, curiosity, and communication. STEM activities will allow my 3rd graders to apply what they know in a variety of situations. They will become problem solvers and use critical thinking skills. They will learn to communicate and work together in teams toward a common goal. This will then build their confidence and lead to new ways of thinking. My goals is to build a foundation with STEM projects that will spark interests for future careers. This project will cover NGSS ( 3.5-ETS1-1,1-2.1-3, SEP 1-8) Science and Engineering practices in asking and answering questions, developing models, carrying out investigations, analyzing data, use math computation when needed, construct explanations, and engage in argumentative evidence.
