These items requested and gathered will be used in the classroom environment to create a comforting environment for students and to support social-emotional learning in the school setting. I will utilize books to support student's understanding of mental health in a developmentally appropriate manner. I will utilize the Cricut and laminator to create mental health related posters and/or other resources that I will place in the school hallways and in the counseling classroom. Students would benefit from the use of figet toys to ease anxiety related symptoms and to essentially support self-regulation.
