The books that I have chosen will be used for motivating and encouraging students to open a book instead of their devices. As they read and explore their world with both fiction and nonfiction books they can explore the world and open their imagination. Students are so excited to find a connection with a book and this encourages them to pick up another book! Reading opens so many doors, especially when the love of reading begins early. These books will be circulated primarily among our youngest students as they learn how to respect and care for library books.
