These picture book resources will build on the 5 Social-Emotional Competencies of building self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship awareness, and responsible decision making. The books will be available to all students and staff for checkout. SEL lessons are positively impacted when done in conjunction with a story or picture book. By adding these books to our school library, we can have schoolwide discussions based on the subject matter of these books. The books asked for will help provide guidance for students in self-management, relationship building, and positive self-awareness. Thank you!
