Students with an emotional behavioral disorder often struggle with the ability to use safe and effective coping strategies. One way I have found in the past is giving them an open canvas to create whatever they want. Simple supplies such as paintbrushes, paint, canvas, and glass projects will show them the different ways to help their mental and emotional health. We will be giving them the opportunity to learn different ways to use art and working together to create art pieces for them to display at home or in our school.
