These materials are essential in creating interactive notebooks that really bring language to life. Students often struggle with organization and study skills, so creating an interactive notebook that is theirs to keep, organize, and use is a great way to help students to be prepared each and every day. In order to really make these notebooks come to life, we need supplies such as glue sticks, scissors, and markers to be able to make each notebook personal to each student's learning needs. These supplies help us break out of the traditional mold of textbook activities and allow students to make something they can personalize and feel proud of.
