Multi-sensory learning is extremely important for young learners AND for students with special needs; my students fit both descriptions. Many of them are experiencing school for the very first time and others are returning to in-person learning after a very unusual school year. The transition to in-person learning and adjusting to the structure of the classroom has been difficult for them and these materials will help ease that transition. These materials will allow my students to remain focused and on-task during instruction, but will also allow them to experience the curriculum in a way that is beneficial and meaningful to them. As the elementary campus with the largest special needs population in our school district, you can imagine that we have an increasing need for sensory materials. All of our special needs students are capable of achieving many amazing things, your help will give them the tools they need to be successful!
