The materials I am requesting are prizes to help motivate students to help themselves. Our math curriculum has on online portion that is extremely helpful to students, but they need to be motivated to work on it at home, since our class time is already packed with learning goals. If I can offer a prize to get students going, they quickly see how the online program builds their math knowledge and increases their success in the classroom! High achievers can choose from some larger prizes such as basketballs and frisbees.
