My students will study the history of Coatesville this school year in addition to map skills. I want them to be able visualize where they live in relationship to other states, countries, and continents. Being able to refer to a world map and globe representation of our world in an engaging format is key to student learning. The map is large enough or each student to sit on a letter and be able to view the world. When exploring more specific places, individuals can practice locating them on the globe. Students will be able to identify the city, county, state, country, continent, and planet in which they live. These materials will enhance cross curricular learning as we locate places and study different cultures.
