This will give my students an opportunity to explore new STEM activities during our indoor recess time. Many of my students are from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and lack opportunities at home. This will give them a chance to explore new building items that catch their attention. Indoor recess has been very limited in what they can play with since we are dealing with COVID. This will give me a chance to offer them more opportunities to play with, them the chance to play with different STEM items during their indoor recess time, and the added benefit that they will not just be stuck on an iPad.
