Since returning to the building, I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. In the art studio we spend a lot of time working on meaningful art projects, getting to know one another better, and increasing our social skills by collaborating with our peers. With much needed materials, like paint and artists quality colored pencils, my artists will use these tools to create and express their artistic voice. (Va.K-5 Cr.1). The LEGO set will be a great manipulative to encourage my autistic students/artists to communicate through story telling. I would love to have my students reach their full artistic potential with the resources and tools they need.
