The materials I have chosen will be used in my class on a daily basis to provide an interactive and fun way to learn foundational reading skills. The use of CVC/Blend objects will help my older students with their spelling and being able to break up words by the number of sounds. The rainbow phonics words will be used to empathize the sounds we hear in phonics words. The stretch balls and fidgets will be used as a self-regulation tool, an incentive in order for my students to work on their goals. The seat cushions will be used to help provide a silent sensory input in my student's general education classrooms, so it is not a distraction but rather a tool. By donating to this project, you will provide students access to a wider range of hands-on activities and tools, which will help them succeed in their academics and social/emotional skills. Students will be able to use them on an everyday basis, in order to gain access to the specialized instruction they deserve.
