Old school audio jack headphones are very unreliable and students become frustrated when they don't work. The micro audio jack worked well with audio equipment from the last century; however, it has caused frustration for students studying computers. On the other hand, USB headphones are extremely stable and reliable. With these headphones, students will be able to listen to videos for their keyboarding and computer science courses. Students use Code.org for the bulk of our computer science curriculum and we use Typing.com for our keyboarding curriculum. Both programs, use videos with audio extensively for instruction.
